The Nittany Lane Weather Station is powered by an Oregon Scientific WMR968 Wireless Solar Powered Weather Station. The Nittany Lane Weather Station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible. The site is updated every 5 minutes using Cumulus software version 1.9.4 build 1099. The Nittany Lane Weather Station also has a Microsoft LifeCam HD-5000 webcam that provides an image every 30 seconds during daylight hours.
